Established in 2002, Urban Green Council’s mission is to transform New York City’s buildings for a sustainable future. As the New York Affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), they study factors like health, cost, and sustainability of New York City’s buildings. Urban Green Council then collaborates with policymakers and professionals who design and build NYC buildings, influencing the steps taken to provide a sustainable future for the city.

Nonprofit Challenge

Urban Green Council began working with Jitasa in 2010 with a small staff and limited resources. They found it difficult to process the large amount of small credit card transactions and reconciliations on their own each month.

The Solution
