Mountain iconThe Challenge

Hillel at Stanford came to Jitasa with disorganized books and a treasurer who, although talented, did not have a background in nonprofit-specific accounting. Their goal was to ensure the books were legible and consistently accurate. Hillel at Stanford wanted Jitasa’s help cleaning up existing books, implementing processes to keep them clean in the future, and always ensuring accuracy.

Rather than going through the expensive and challenging process of hiring an internal accountant, and then training that internal accountant on nonprofit-specific processes, Hillel at Stanford was able to save time and money by working with Jitasa. Not only that, but they now enter into conversations with major donors more confidently, knowing they can provide useful, correct numbers to these important supporters.
